This puzzle can be viewed as a 3x3x3 without edges but with an additional set of faces connected to an additional core. The corners can be turned independently from the rings and the central circles. The rings themselves can be turned independently from the central circles as shown in image 5. Actually it is a 2x2x2 combined with two samples of the "1x1 Magic Cube Puzzle", the simplified O2 Cube.
