This puzzle combines the axis systems of corner and edge turning dodecahedron. This is the third puzzle with this axis system. Like the earlier two it uses curved cuts but unlike those the cuts are way deeper. This is the first case of the axis system where the sets of cuts go deeper than adjacent corners. This results in a puzzle with 11 piece types.
