Gem III with additional pieces in the squares.

This puzzle is a face turning puzzle in the shape of a truncated octahedron, an archimedean solid. Its closest relative is the Gem III. Unlike that predecessor the square sides are larger and do not show a 2x2 pattern but a 3x3 pattern.
The puzzles ist not stickered but covered with embedded tiles in 8 colours. The six squares are coloured like Rubik's Cube. The eight hexagons are coloured like the mass produced FTO. Thanks to this colour scheme all pieces are distinguishable.
Edge length: 45 mm
