The O2 Cube is a twisty puzzle made from a regular 3x3x3 Rubik's Cube, inspired by a similar puzzle called O Cube, based on a Skewb. It appears to be a large 1x1x1 with a circle on each face but these circles are the 3x3x3 centers. All of the 3x3x3 corners are connected, and this is shown by the cage in which the circles reside. Finally, the 3x3x3 edges are stickered, although they are only visible when the cube is in mid-turn and are hidden in the solved state.
If one includes the edge pieces the puzzle is solvingwise equivalent to the B12C111. This special subgroup of the 3x3x3 is called Slice Cube.
In 2021 two mass produced versions hit the market, named "1x1 Magic Cube Puzzle Standard Version" and "1x1 Magic Cube Puzzle Spinner Version". These came without coloured "edges". One can also be used as spinner. The two subversions are indistinguishable from the outside. Please refer to images 6-11.
Edge length: 53 mm
Weight: 100 grams
